"Delivering a revolutionary touch experience that will change the way you use your phone, forever. The HTC Touch Dual effortlessly combines an intuitive touch screen and keypad within a stunning design. Everything you need is at your fingertips. With the flick of your thumb, the touch screen slides to reveal a handy smart-sized keyboard. If you prefer to touch, then the revolutionary TouchFLO™ interface allows you to quickly guide through emails, messages, music and images at the touch of a finger, making navigation a breeze. A single touch of the screen activates the HTC Home™ screen, providing an instant view of email, calendar, messages, missed calls, dynamic weather updates and more. High speed, always on connectivity provides you with the ultimate internet experience - wherever you are."

The upgraded version of the HTC Touch has landed as the HTC Touch Dual and it's a mixed bag as far as specs are concerned. Let's drill it down: Qualcomm MSM 7200 400MHz CPU, 128MB RAM, 256MB ROM, a 2.6" QVGA TFT-LCD with TouchFLO technology, tri-band 900/1800/1900Mz GSM/GPRS/EDGE (ehm... no love for quad-band, HTC?) and 2100MHz UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0, HTC ExtUSB (with support for the USB 2.0 specification), a primary 2.0MP CMOS camera, a secondary CIF CMOS camera for video telephony, a microSD slot, a slide-out 16-key or 20-key QWERTY keypad, and Windows Mobile 6 Professional. That's right - read and weep - there's no Wi-Fi. You can expect this one to be launched by Orange in the UK, France, Romania, Poland, and Switzerland very soon, although Orange's pricing is still a question mark. More pictures after the break.
Update: The Touch Dual is now available for pre-order for US$644.95 through our hardware partner, Expansys.
