MobileTechReview Reviews XV6700, Treo 700w

Are you a Verizon user, Bluetooth stupidities aside? Or are you drooling for the super-fast EVDO? In either case, there are two popular new Pocket PC Phones available, and MobileTechReview has written up detailed reviews for each: the Palm Treo 700w and the UTStarcom XV6700.
It's pretty remarkable how similarly sized the two are. Slightly small pictures aside, the two reviews are detailed, complete with performance benchmarks. The upshot? They like both devices, although the 700w, with its small screen and lesser RAM, is a bit more phone-oriented, while the XV6700 is a bit less one-handable with the slide-out keyboard but has more RAM and a more generous form factor. They also mention that Verizon is planning to offer an official tethered plan (finally!) for the 700w; I hope they offer that plan for the 6700 as well.
