Hitchhiker 0.4 Beta 1 Released
Posted by Darius Wey in "SOFTWARE" @ 04:00 AM
"Hitchhiker helps you to connect your Pocket PC to the wireless Internet. Simply click "Connect" and it will try all nearby public access points. Hitchhiker will handle all settings for you and perform complicated tests to ensure you can connect to the Internet in no time."
Hitchhiker, which we've posted on before, has now taken its first steps to supporting Windows Mobile 5.0, and multiple resolutions and display orientations. v0.4 also includes a new notification balloon, improved performance, and support for automatic reconnections. Compulim, the developer, is looking for feedback, so if you have any bugs to report or feature requests, feel free to post a reply in this thread.
Hitchhiker v0.4 requires the .NET Compact Framework 2.0, which can be downloaded from here.
