TV Guide for Windows Mobile Released
Posted by Janak Parekh in "SOFTWARE" @ 04:00 PM
"Gemstar-TV Guide International, Inc., the leading provider of television information and guidance, and Handmark, a global leader in mobile media, today announced the immediate availability of TV Guide Mobile, a dynamic new television listings and content service designed for Palm handhelds, Treo smartphones and Windows Mobile pocket PCs and smartphones. Through a yearly or monthly subscription, TV Guide Mobile provides consumers with the content and personalized tools they need to get the most out of the world of television."

Looks like there's an "official" TV Guide application for Pocket PCs now, via a partnership with software developer Handmark. The application is designed to download content over a network connection on your Pocket PC. The application looks pretty slick, but I'm not sure if it's worth $30/year to me.
