You've Been Railed By... Quake 3 Development For PPC

"We thought it would be fun to do it, so we ported the recenly-GPL-released Quake 3 Arena from iD Software to Windows CE 4.2 for Pocket PC, as a test for our 'SpeedDemon' Windows CE profiler. Sure, the game still runs at like 5 FPS, but at least we know how to make it faster for future builds. Expect continuing development on this port. In the meantime, enjoy the 1.0 release!"

It'll be the weekend soon, and if you're in for a long boring one, you may want to relax, sit back, and blow something up. The Noctemware team is busily working away at Quake 3 Arena (Not to be confused with the Quake 1 version we posted on last week) for PPC - why not take a look? Sarge, Uriel, Minx, Orb, and the rest of the gang are waiting.
