CNet Radio Downloads Launches
Posted by Ed Hansberry in "CONTENT" @ 02:00 PM
Last month I posted a blurb that CNet Radio was going to provide downloads in MP3 format which meant they would be portable and usable on your Pocket PC. It has officially launched at CNetRadio.com.

I immediately installed the download manager. It is 3MB on your PC once installed by a company called Kontiki. I was a bit disapointed that I couldn't just pull down the MP3s without needing a third party app. Does me no good to have a Pocket PC capable of WiFi if I have to have a desktop to download the content. :( Programs are available at 7:30am and 2:30am Pacific Time. They are 15 minutes each and are in huge 9MB+ files. 8O Makes me appreciate the 1.8MB 1 hour audible file format.
