Bubblegum Enables Social Photo Sharing

Posted by Nurhisham Hussein in "Windows Phone Software" @ 11:00 AM

"Minority platform users are often stuck waiting for a third-party to come along and conjure up a solution with whatever bits of the API they can uncover, or hoping that someone builds a clone...That last bit...is exactly what a pair of Microsofties has done for Windows Phone 7. After growing tired of waiting for any of these picture sharing services to come to them, they built one of their own: bubblegum. And yes, it has the silly filters."

Just waiting for a social photo sharing app for your quick snaps? Bubblegum fills that niche for you, and despite being a product of days off, it's apparently fairly full featured. If you're interested, follow this link to the Marketplace.

LinkedIn Linking Into Windows Mobile

Posted by Jon Westfall in "Windows Phone Software" @ 07:00 AM

http://linkedinmobile.codeplex.com/

"LinkedIn for Windows Mobile/Phone is currently at version 0.8.5 and it is a free Windows Mobile/Phone client which allows you to access your LinkedIn account while on the go, using your Device and Data plan or WiFi. You need to download and install the applicationto your Device and upon first run, it will bring up your Internet Browser (IE or Opera) and navigate to the LinkedIn page where you will have to enter your credentials. LinkedIn will then ask you to allow or reject the authentication of the client you've just installed, offering you a code which you need to enter in the LinkedIn for Windows Mobile app"

If you're a fan of the professional's social networking site, LinkedIn, you can now check out your connections on a Windows Mobile phone. Now couple that with Facebook, MySpace, & Twitter, and you're connected to everyone from your favorite band to your boss.
