"One of our ninjas just blessed us with a look at a portion of AT&T’s Windows Mobile road-map for the rest of the year. Quickly glancing at it we can see that the AT&T Tilt 2 will obviously launch in October, and refreshingly, the Samsung Epix and Samsung Jack will be getting upgrades to Windows Mobile 6.5 courtesy of upcoming maintenance releases."

That is exciting that more devices are getting WinMo 6.5 upgrades. I am not sure why all of the change of heart by manufacturers and carriers lately to provide upgrades, but I hope that it doesn't discourage Microsoft from taking matters into their own hands and providing the upgrades themselves directly to users in WinMo 7.

Ah Microsoft - you just can't not leak company secrets, can you? There's not a lot I can say about this (NDA stuff), but after the break there's the full breakdown of what is called the "WM7 Chassis 1 Specification". This is all rumour and speculation remember, but as you look at the specs I think you'll agree there's a certain ring of truth to it. Oops, Palm let one slip. What you see above and after the break are snaps of a Treo Pro (aka Treo 850) Flash demo that was hosted on Palm's very own website. Like the 500 and Centro, the Pro opts for a sleeker look, which we think is a step in the right direction. It includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, IR, HSDPA, a camera, an expansion slot, and a Micro-USB connector, which we'd normally disapprove of if it was anything like HTC's ExtUSB; but Palm isn't HTC. They've done a good deed by including a 3.5mm headphone jack for all your audio needs.

Unfortunately, no word on a price or release date, but the moment we know, we'll let you know.
