Windows Phone Thoughts: Verizon Pays Up For Early Termination Fee Suit

"A California appeals court upheld a $21 million refund that Verizon Wireless will have to pay to some of its customers as a result of a settlement of a class-action lawsuit over its early termination fees, according to the lawyer representing the plaintiffs."

It looks like Verizon will be paying out over $15 million dollars to 175,000 former customers in the state of California, or about $87.50 per person. The appeals aren't finalized but should be in 60 days or so and then the checks will start flowing.
