Posted by Darius Wey in "Pocket PC Hardware" @ 11:30 AM
"Trimble (NASDAQ:TRMB) introduced today its next generation of durable, lightweight field computing devices with integrated Global Positioning System (GPS) technology-the new Trimble® Juno SB and Juno SC handhelds. These pocket-sized devices are packed with features and functionality. In addition to integrated GPS, both models include wireless LAN (WLAN) and Bluetooth® connectivity, a 3 Megapixel camera, a 533 MHz processor, 128 MB of onboard memory, a MicroSD/SDHC memory card slot, an all-day battery and a 3.5 inch display."
The Juno SB and SC are more or less the same device. Both pack a Samsung processor clocked at 533MHz, 128MB RAM, 128MB ROM, a 3.5" QVGA touch screen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a camera, a microSDHC slot, a sizable 2600mAh battery, and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional; what differentiates the two is quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band HSDPA support, which the SC proudly totes.
