Fake Call
Posted by Pete Paxton in "Smartphone Software" @ 07:00 AM
"Fake Call is a quick and easy way to "call yourself" in order to politely escape social situations. While pretending to receive a phone call is possible without any special software, this usually takes too many awkward key presses and fumbling. Fake Call makes it as easy as pressing 1 button, and provides an extremely realistic incoming call experience. It also includes powerful scheduling and personalization features in a simple, unobtrusive user interface."
So how many of you would totally use this? Have you ever told someone to call you so you could get out of a meeting or any other situation? Now you don't have to. Think of it, you can schedule a call, pretend to talk to someone and simply walk out. If it ends up being the guy they show in their picture above, people may get suspicious. You can download the beta from their site. Do you use Fake Call or a product like it? If so, has it saved you a few times? Let us know.
