Timetranslator Saves A Step!?!

"Timetranslator offers you the option of knowing the local time at your call destination prior to making a connection. This puts the decision at your fingertips if it is the right time to complete your call. Once you download Timetranslator onto your cell phone, you will be able to access the time at almost any location.* No more missed business opportunities or awakening someone in the middle of the night. The Timetranslator program is simple and easy to use. Just dial the number as you normally would (using the appropriate IDD number for your country, 00 or 011 for most countries or the + sign for all countries, followed by the country code and number), then press call or send. You will be prompted to press “5” within a 3 second window. At this point the call is paused and the time at your call destination will be displayed. If the time is right for connecting, press “call” to connect or “end” to disconnect. If “5” is not pressed within a 3 second window, the call will automatically connect without displaying the time. North American users who wish to know the time within North America must dial the 1 before the area code and number."

OK, this software was initially not too exciting for me, and I almost passed on posting on it - but then again, maybe someone really makes a plethora of calls to places they have no idea the local time at. The software will tell you what time it is where you call, saving you the step or helping you if you have some random number to dial but have no idea where in the globe it is. $9.99 sounds like a fair price - but more than the software - I'd love to hear if anyone out there needs this software (and specifically why). Guess my job is just too boring when it comes to telephone use.
