Giga-Byte 2008 GSmart Lineup

"While not yet officially announced, during the Mobile World Congress, GIGA-BYTE Communications unveiled the GSmart MS808 Windows Mobile 6 Professional smartphone, featuring quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and singleband UMTS/HSDPA. Furthermore, quite typical for GSmart devices, the MS808 supports DVB-T, DVB-H, T-DMB, and/or DAB while the device will be preconfigured to work with DVB-T and DVB-H."
Gives new meaning to the term 'everything but the kitchen sink' don't you think (which I'm sure is actually in there somewhere)? In addition, the M808 will also feature new Marvell's 624MHz processor, a 2.8" VGA screen, and a 3MP AF camera. The reason for the 'supports'/'preconfigured' qualification is that the M808 is one of a line of modular smartphones, where features (HSDPA, TV, GPS etc) can be added or removed depending on carrier requirements. I suspect that this is not something that can be configured by a user, but rather at factory. Two other models are also being introduced, the M800 and the M820, with slightly different layouts. The M820 will have a so-called G-sensor, which I take to be an accelerometer. These two will be released this spring, while the M808 is due in 3Q 2008.
