Toshiba Preps Successor For Portege G900

"While full specs aren't yet available, we've pieced together that these devices (differentiated by the fact that one of them will have a crippled GPS receiver) are tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 -- sorry, fellow Americans, no US broadband here -- with WiFi, Bluetooth, and dual cameras, and powered by a Qualcomm processor of unknown speed."
It's a different form-factor, and one I like the looks of - reminds me a bit of the Universal but without the swiveling screen. I'm not sure what to make of the "no US broadband" remark, as we don't know which 3G/HSDPA bands this thing will operate on, even if it is GSM tri-band only. In any case, it looks like Toshiba is serious about competing in the Windows Mobile space, at least for the near future.
