HTC Touch Gets A Refresh

"In addition to the previously launched black and green shades, the HTC Touch will now come in white and burgundy (but no word about the recently announced Artic Silver version) - but so far in South-East Asia only...But that's not all, additionally HTC splashes an extra amount of memory which gives the new HTC Touch 128 MB of RAM and 256 MB of ROM (sic). And, according to CNet Asia's Crave Blog, the price remains the same at S$ 848."
Hot on the heels of the global availability of the Touch Dual, HTC has introduced some refinements to the original Touch device, adding a number of color options (ooookaaayy...) and doubling the system memory (now you're talking). At the moment, the new variants appear to be limited to SE Asia (lucky me), but I can't imagine it being confined to my part of the woods for very long, as Arne notes. You can probably blame carrier testing and unsold inventories for that - score another point for the unlocked, unsubsidised phone business model. :devilboy:
