Windows Phone Thoughts: HTC Shift Video Demo

Here's a nice five-and-a-half minute video demonstration of the HTC Shift that shows off SnapVUE (which appears to be a modified version of Windows Mobile running a modified version of HTC Home), the keyboard, mouse pointer, and battery. Performance-wise, the Shift appears to be on par with most other mid- to high-end UMPCs, and of course, it's Aero-capable, so you can experience all the pleasures of Vista's glassy interface, albeit a meager two hours worth. Fortunately, the Shift's battery life is being looked at, so we may see some improvements on this front by the time it's released into the market.
