"i-mate, the Dubai-based specialist in Windows Mobile® phones launches today its latest Pocket PC for people who want to be mobile instantly without having to carry around a large device. The JAMA perfectly combines ease-of-use, with a very light and extremely compact design. Packed with Windows Mobile® features, the compact JAMA has proved to be an instant hit with customers around the world and will be soon distributed to global fast growing smartphone markets."
i-mate has just announced the JAMA Pocket PC Phone, and unless you're on a tight budget, there's a good chance you'll give this one a miss. The Windows Mobile 5.0-based dual-band GSM/GPRS (900/1800) device offers a meagre Bluetooth 1.2, alongside a standard set of innards - Samsung 300MHz CPU, 64MB RAM, 128MB ROM, a 2.4" QVGA display, and a 2.0-megapixel camera. Oh, and sorry, folks. There's no Wi-Fi.
