Dopod Readying Six New Phones for 2H

"Dopod International, a subsidiary of High Tech Computer (HTC), plans to launch six new phones, including one mobile office device, in China in the second half of 2007 after launching six models in the first half, according to company sources. Codenames of the new models for the second half are Athena-c (mobile office device), Cruiser, Kunlun, Nike-c, Elf and Sedna-c, said the sources, noting that the six models will still be marketed under its current Dopod-brand instead of HTC."
DigiTimes is reporting that China will see six new devices launched in the second half of the year, although it's a safe bet that a few of those will also be made available in other countries. In fact, one is just around the corner. We'll fill you in on the details very soon.
