Windows Phone Thoughts: Windows Mobile Guru Are You? Prove It.

If you're thinking you know the most about Windows Mobile, then you may want to check out the Windows Mobile Training website. Recently released and designed primarily for sales people who need to know the key features of Windows Mobile devices, the site lets you work through small "courses" and then take an assessment to earn points. It took me around an hour to work through all of the material on the site, and in the process I earned a glorious Specialist designation as well as a Small Business Specialist designation. Woohoo! Actually, all kidding aside, the site did reinforce to me some of the core concepts Microsoft is trying to push with the latest generation of devices. Features us vets may feel are unimportant or not very exciting are often those that Microsoft feels will really appeal to new users (often the people we are trying to help with our advice, columns, reviews, etc..). As a plus, you can also get some nice looking PDF certificates to print out and frame (why not?)!
