Windows Mobile Competition at NTCC 2007

"Microsoft and Dell joined forces for the first time at NTCC 2007 to offer a unique one-day competition which challenged 50 students to develop a mobile device application that suited the needs of realtors. In the morning, participants were instructed on the .NET Compact Framework and Windows Mobile SDK. In the afternoon, they worked in teams and, with the one-on-one guidance of their Microsoft instructors, they programmed their Dell Axim PDA's."
While I'm a little surprised to see (a) a one-day competition for folks that don't know how to program mobile devices; and (b) Dell sponsoring this event, it's nevertheless good to see such publicity for Windows Mobile.
