Gear Diary And Clinton Fitch Review The i-Mate Jaq3

"Clinton: I have to say that overall I’m pretty impressed with the JAQ3. As I mentioned earlier, it is clear in my mind that this is squarely aimed at the RIM Blackberry user and in that vein, it does a great job. Judie: I would have to agree with Clinton on that point. If you are a business user that wants full Pocket PC functions, and your phone is your main PDA, then the JAQ3 would certainly be a contender. I would definitely choose it before I picked a Q, simply because it is perfect for viewing and editing spreadsheets, documents, and other business uses."
Judie Hughes at Gear Diary and Clinton Fitch have done a double-barreled review of the i-Mate Jaq3. We've covered this device before and while not the latest and greatest, it does cover a niche for a business oriented PDA phone with minimal frills - WM5 (with WM6 on the way), 200MHz TI OMAP processor, quad-band GSM, EDGE and a 2.4" QVGA landscape-oriented screen. If this device is on your radar screen, check out the review!
