O2 Germany To Add Xda Terra & Xda Nova
Posted by Nurhisham Hussein in "HARDWARE" @ 09:30 PM
"Though O2 spends plenty of time getting cozy with Quanta for its Windows Mobile needs, that doesn't mean they've thrown HTC to the curb. The latest two HTCs to get the O2 treatment -- in Germany, anyway -- will be the Herald and Elf, released as the Xda "Terra" and "Nova" respectively."
While the Elf is new, the Herald is not - but what's really welcome with the release of these two devices is the addition of Windows Mobile 6. Other than that there's not much to get excited about - TI OMAP 200 MHz processors, 64MB RAM, 128MB ROM, you know the drill ;). The Terra will be available from May for 150 Euros with a 24 month contract, and the Nova in June for 100 Euros with contract.
Update: Engadget managed to get some hands-on time with the Terra at CeBIT - the Nova was a no-show as it is apparently still being 'tweaked'. Check out the gallery for more photos.
