Windows Phone Thoughts: Windows Mobile 6 for the Glofiish X500?

Trends Mobile, an Asian-Pacific distributor that has proven to be relatively reliable over the years, has dropped some juicy information in its latest newsletter. At the top, it's stated that Windows Mobile 6 will be made available for the X500 at an unspecified price and date. Considering it would be unwise to offer an upgrade to only one Glofiish, it's probably safe to assume that its QWERTY sibling, the M700, will get some of that upgrade love too. Of course, take what you see and hear with a grain of salt. Until E-TEN makes an official announcement (which may be as early as tomorrow), nothing is certain.

Update: E-TEN has revealed that Windows Mobile 6 updates for the X500 and M700 will be available for download from their web site in May. A decision on cost (there's a good chance that it'll be free) has yet to be made.
