Google Working On A Mobile Device?

"Now that the iPhone has moved from rumor limbo into the land of the living (at least we think so -- how many people have actually touched one?), we obviously need another mythical mobile to drool over and speculate about -- and the natural candidate is, of course, the so-called Google phone."
Ok, so I have a post title with a question mark, but if ever a post deserved one, this does. Deep Throat in this case offers some barebones info - Java/Linux with a graphics engine designed for rendering quality images in low-power devices (the image above is from a supposed Samsung-Google collaboration). There's some indication that the marketing model will be different from the typical (for NA anyway) carrier-based hardware-for-contracts proposition. On the whole not much to go on, but oh what fun it is to speculate!
