MobileTechReview Reviews the i-mate JAQ3

"So you love the Samsung BlackJack and the T-Mobile Dash MS Smartphones but prefer the Pocket PC version of Windows Mobile with its touch screen and MS Office suite. I-mate hopes that their JAQ3 will win you over in a heartbeat. Yes, the JAQ3 is almost a dead ringer for the BlackJack, but on a much grander scale. The JAQ3 is a big, though not inelegant beast that looks best photographed by itself. Add in some smaller friends and you'll realize that technology isn't yet up to squeezing all the features of a Pocket PC into a smartphone's casing. The JAQ3 just has to be bigger."
The folks at MTR have just reviewed i-mate's JAQ3, and according to them, it's so-so. The CPU, small screen size, and mediocre wireless performance collectively take off a couple of stars, though to i-mate's credit, the JAQ3 has a great form factor and high-quality display, so it's not a complete flop. Still think you might be interested in it? Head over to MTR and read the review.
