CHT 9100 Coming Soon
Posted by Darius Wey in "HARDWARE" @ 04:00 PM
"Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) is expected to launch its second own-brand HSDPA (high speed downlink packet access) handset, the CHT9100, in Taiwan on December 1, according to market sources. The CHT9100 will be similar in function as its predecessor, the CHT9000, with both models running Microsoft's Windows Mobile 5.0 OS and sporting a download speed of 1.8 Mbps, the sources said, noting that the CHT9100 will not be equipped a QWERTY keyboard as the CHT9000 does."
Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) is readying the CHT 9100 for release in a week. Not much is known about this device, other than the fact that it's manufactured by HTC, is HSDPA-enabled, and does not have a QWERTY keyboard. We're betting on it being the HTC Trinity. We'll let you know next month.
