Ask Mobile Portal Launched

"Greenlight Wireless Corporation announced that its Skweezer technology, which optimizes Web content for mobile devices, has been integrated into the new Ask Mobile which was launched today. Ask Mobile users who click on a search result, or any other link that leaves the site, access an optimized version of the target Web page created by Skweezer. Skweezer's proprietary compression algorithms, developed and refined over the past five years, significantly reduce Web content typically to 15% or less of its original file size. This allows Web pages to load much more quickly and has the added benefit of greatly reducing bandwidth requirements. Web pages viewed through Skweezer are also intelligently reformatted, providing intuitive and convenient access to content from a small-screen device."
