For those of you with PocketBible 3, Laridian has released a new dictionary called the Complete Word Study Dictionary Old Testament. It has every Hebrew and Aramaic word and gives an extensive definition and why the words may be translated differently depending on the context, complete with hyperlinked examples. It comes with the King James Version Exhaustive Concordance that has Strong's numbering if you don't already have it. It also works with the Strong's numbering system in the New American Standard Exhaustive Concordance.
The dictionary itself is about 4.7MB and can be stored on a storage card. It is $29.99 alone or for $39.99, you can get the Complete Word Study Dictionary New Testament and Old Testament together, which I highly recommend. If you already have either the King James or New American Standard with the Greek or Hebrew dictionaries, I recommend you remove those dictionaries only from your Laridian Books folder and replace it with these. THey will be called KJVGK, KJVHB, NASGK or NASHB. That way, when you tap on a Strong's number, the appropriate Complete Word Study Dictionary opens up with a lengthy definition and analysis of the word you are questioning.
This does require PocketBible 3. If you haven't upgraded from PocketBible 2 yet, now is the time to seriously consider it. If the new features of PocketBible 3 weren't enough to get you to upgrade, maybe the new books, like this one, will be. Also, if you already have PocketBible 3, you'll need to download and install version 3.043 if you didn't do that earlier this week.
