"Handmark®, a leading developer and distributor of mobile content solutions, announced that it is using qtags-powered text promotions as a part of its advertising campaigns, making it easier for consumers to quickly download Handmark applications without having to remember URLs or visit a software store to make a purchase. For example, consumers can text 'express' to 78247 (QTAGS) and immediately receive a reply text with a one-click download link for the Handmark flagship mobile software, Pocket Express™."
Definitely an innovative approach to downloading software to your device. This is certainly a welcome change from having to fire up a browser, establish a connection, go to the site, search for the software, etc. Of course, you do need to know the "keywords" for whatever applications you're looking for, but that certainly beats having to manage complex URLs or going through several steps to achieve the same thing. Has anyone given this a try? Give us your thoughts.
