"Sept. 28, 2006--Palm (Nasdaq: PALM), MobileOne (SGX: M1) and Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) today announced the first Asian availability of the new Palm(R) Treo(TM) 750v smartphone, bringing for the first time to Asia the hallmark Palm experience on Microsoft(R) Windows Mobile(R) 5.0 over a wireless 3G/UMTS network. The new Treo 750v will be available next month through M1, Vodafone's network partner in Singapore."
As expected, the 3G-enabled Treo 750v (click here for specs) has made its way over to the Asia-Pacific, with Singapore being the first country to kick things off. The device is available through Vodafone's partner, M1, at $1,268 SGD (or $798 USD). Not in Singapore? Don't sweat. There's a good chance that neighbouring countries will catch this device in the coming months, so sit tight. :)
