Splitting HTC's ExtUSB Port
Posted by Darius Wey in "HARDWARE" @ 06:30 AM
If you own one of HTC's newer devices, then you know all about the exclusive ExtUSB - the all-in-one sync/charge/audio port. Here's a cable that splits it into two: one for syncing and charging, and one for audio. Personally, I would prefer to see an ExtUSB to 2.5mm/3.5mm adapter. Sure, audio over Bluetooth is an option, but not everyone is geeky enough to take advantage of a feature like that. The fact that one can't use his/her standard wired headphones without the help of additional accessories makes ExtUSB one giant blunder.
