Live Anywhere Eye-Candy

"All of the panelists were hanging out in the Green Room before the blogging panel at PAX, when we started comparing sexy phones. Well, I was mostly b****ing about how often my Treo 700W locks-up on me. At least I don't get the blue screen of death. So Major Nelson whips out his phone and says, "I bet your phone doesn't have this." and proceeds to jog through a bunch of Live Anywhere windows on his svelte phone."
Someone please tell me if there is some unofficial law which states that pictures of unreleased software/hardware must have at least three levels of gaussian blur applied to it? If you squint hard, you'll notice that the Smartphone pictured above is that of Major Nelson - otherwise known as Larry Hryb, wise sage of all things Xbox Live-related. We learned of Live Anywhere earlier in the year. It's a service that brings Xbox Live from Xbox consoles to PCs and mobile devices, and the screenshot above is the strongest indication yet that Microsoft is preparing to show the service off in the not-too-distant future. So, what might Live Anywhere offer you? The ability to share gamertags, compare game achievements, send and receive messages, and play Xbox Live Arcade games - all from your Windows Mobile-based device. Now that's integration. 8)
