Raon Digital Unleashes the VEGA Ultra-Mobile PC

"Raon digital presented its new 4.3-inch UMPC 'VEGA'. With 4.3-inch 800x480 LCD and 6 hours of battery life, it is the smallest among UMPCs currently available in the market. You can have wireless internet access by connecting external WiFi while USB port and VGA port allow you to have extra keyboard and large screen monitor. The company plans to release the VEGA in September..."
According to Engadget, this comes outfitted with an AMD Geode LX800 processor, 30GB hard drive, and 256MB of RAM. GPS and DMB (Korean digital TV) add-ons are planned in the future as well. Is this a viable competitor to the OQO or Sony UX series? Well, unfortunately, there's no indication of whether this will ever make outside of South Korea (let alone the US).
