Windows Phone Thoughts: Samsung: Having Fun with Displays

The R&D folks at Samsung, once again doing their best at innovating, have two new displays ready to be implemented in the next-generation of mobile devices. The first is a 4.3" active matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) display, which Samsung claims has the "world's highest definition". Come on, Samsung - give us some figures. ;) The second, and a little more down to earth, is a 3.5" QVGA hybrid touch screen panel that incorporates the PCB into the screen to allow manufacturers to deliver thinner and lighter devices to the market.
