Phraze-It Virtual Keyboard

"Phraze-It is a full featured soft keyboard for your PDA with large keys for finger typing and a roomy text display area for editing in your favorite applications."
I could see a real use for this, especially on a device that doesn't have a hardware keyboard. Even on my K-Jam I sometimes just need to enter a few letters on screen, like a quick SMS reply, and don't want to bother with the ridiculous stylus the K-Jam comes with, or don't want to slide out the keyboard for 5-10 letters. Usually, I just use the edge of my fingernail with Fitaly, which definitely isn't designed for non-stylus use.
You can see more about the keyboard on the Phraze-It home page where there is a flash animation showing how it works or a few more screenshots on the about page. It is available for $23.99 from their site (you have to back off the $3 "download protection" fee ) and there is a 7 day trial available.
