Akihabara News Looks at the Light and Plastic-Sweet Sharp W-ZERO3

"We talked about this a few days back and today, my loyal sidekick Totoro and myself were at the Willcom booth at the WPC Expo 2005 and we saw one in the flesh. This Sharp PocketPC Phone Edition is in fact manufactured by the Taiwanese company HTC and is sold with an AirH connection from Willcom in Japan. We weren't able to test the phone part of the device, but compared to my JasJar, it's much lighter and it looks cheaper and more plastic too..."
Okay, first off, all PDAs are plastic. That's a known. However, there's a difference between cheap plastic and quality plastic and it disappoints me that Sharp has apparently gone with the cheap stuff. You'll want to jump over and check out the half-dozen snapshots that the folks at Akihabara News have taken. You'll especially love the final screenshot that shows off the easy-smudge casing. Cheap plastic? Smudging? Personally, I'll opt for my Playskool Magic Screen PDA, thank you very much!
