Details of the O2 Xda Atom have been revealed, and to put it simply, this is everything the HTC Magician should have been, and more! The device features an Intel 416MHz processor, 64MB RAM, 128MB ROM, a 2MP digital camera with flash, an integrated FM radio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support, USB, and a stunning 262K-colour 240 x 320 (QVGA) screen. This awesome list of specs is packed into a shell measuring in at 102mm x 58mm x 18.5mm (roughly the same size as the HTC Magician) and the device itself weighs in at 150g. The Xda Atom also includes Windows Mobile 5.0 and a new media-centred application known as O2 MediaPlus, allowing the user easy access to music, video and images through a common interface. It is still not known whether the Xda Atom sports an SD slot or a miniSD slot. RRP is tagged at S$1,348 (~US$802) and is expected to be released in early December.
