Posted by Ekkie Tepsupornchai in "HARDWARE" @ 01:00 PM
According to the linked Bluetooth qualification pages, a device that appears to be the HTC Wizard has been certified for Bluetooth 2.0. Why is this news? Well, this would be the first PDA we know of to support Bluetooth 2.0 (as opposed to 1.1 or 1.2).
The main enhancements to Bluetooth in version 2 include higher data throughput, faster transmission speed, and lower power consumption. More information regarding the differences in Bluetooth versions can be obtained via Wikipedia. Additionally, we have word out of the::unwired that O2 Germany has officially announced support for the HTC Wizard (aka - O2 Xda mini S).
