"Vodafone Australia is supporting Hewlett-Packard's launch of the HP iPAQ hw6515 by offering customers two months of unlimited data usage, based on the $49.95 Vodafone data bundle, when they purchase the HP iPAQ hw6515 device in specially marked packs through participating Vodafone IT resellers and connect to Vodafone before 30 October 2005. Available for $0 upfront on Vodafone’s Mobile Payment Plan, based on the recommended retail price of the device of $1199, customers would pay either $99.92 per month for 12 months or $49.96 per month over 24 months, thereby allowing businesses to spread the cost of the hardware into manageable payments. By also choosing the $49.95 unlimited* data bundle, customers can use their iPAQ whenever they like, with complete control and predictability over their ongoing data cost."
Vodafone Australia has just launched the iPAQ hw6515 at $0 upfront with monthly repayments of A$99.92 (12 months) or A$49.96 (24 months). The special promotion offers two months of free unlimited data usage on Vodafone's $49.95 data plan. Although the hw6515 has been made widely available in local retail stores for quite some time now, Vodafone's offering provides an alternative solution for those looking to purchase the device with a mobile plan instead.
