SpiderUI: A New Navigation Novelty
Posted by Jon Westfall in "DEVELOPER" @ 06:01 AM
"The SpiderUI is a navigational control that is designed for Pocket PC applications. This control is lightweight and provides quick responses by decreasing the number of "clicks" up to 50% compared to the current menu architecture."
Well, it isn't often that a new navigational control sharing its name with an arachnid shows up, so why not share it. All kidding aside, this looks pretty cool as an intuitive way to navigate. The main topic sits in the middle, and the sub commands or options fan out (Sorta like a mind map), the user uses the D-pad to move to the option they want. I suppose you could like multiple Spiders together to form a web, which would be a neat and novel way to spice up your app!
