Upcoming VOIP PDA?
Posted by Jon Westfall in "HARDWARE" @ 11:23 AM
"Probably not much more than a concept design for a product they’re trying to get orders for, but Unication Co. is showing off a Linux-based “VOIP PDA” at Computex right now that looks a bit like one of those clamshell Zaurus handhelds..."
While the future for this concept is unknown, the stats look fairly interesting. Running a linux OS, and having a full querty keypad might make this an attractive PDA for someone who wants to use VOIP to communicate. If the price was right, and Wi-Fi was everywhere you needed to call someone from, this might suit a person's PDA needs nicely. We'll have to wait and see if it ever pans out from this stange, however.
