Windows Phone Thoughts: Garmin - No Windows Mobile 5.0 Support At This Stage

I had the opportunity to talk to one of Garmin's media relations representatives today and he confirmed with me that they have no public announcements regarding the new Windows Mobile 5.0 platform. Thus, it is highly unlikely that the existing iQue M5 will be receiving a ROM update for the new operating system. For Garmin, it is still an uncertainty if and when they will be releasing a new Pocket PC (possibly with Windows Mobile 5) - however, if they decide to release one in the future, we'll keep you posted.
