VITO VoiceDialer Update: Tag Backup & Voice Notification!
Posted by Jon Westfall in "SOFTWARE" @ 12:00 PM
"VITO VoiceDialer is voice recognition and dialing software for your Pocket PC. Choosing the contacts to dial manually from the address book is slow, boring and even dangerous if you drive. With VoiceDialer, you can just pronounce a name without pressing anything! VoiceDialer uses voice commands that you record by yourself, thus it understands any language, even your dog's barking! Your dog can finally call you, isn't it great?"
I don't know if its all that great that your dog could call you, but the updated features of VITO VoiceDialer seem to make the newest version a very welcome update. Since you record your own voicetags with VITO, it has been a bit annoying to lose these in a hard reset. Annoyance over, VITO will now back them up. VITO now also supports voice notification of incoming calls. When it detects a new call coming in, it will play the voicetag associated with the call. From their page, it appears that the upgrade is free to all those who purchased the program within the past year, so if you're a VITO user, check it out!
