It's No Surprise Toshiba is Faltering in the Pocket PC Market
Posted by Jason Dunn in "THOUGHT" @ 04:00 PM
Pocket PC Thoughts community member Ripper014 has posted a rant in our forums that's truly Thought Worthy. Reading about his experience illuminates part of the reason why Toshiba hasn't ever been successful in this market. They don't seem to have a grasp on how customer service should work, and speaking from personal experience, they don't seem to have anyone there that cares about enthusiast communities - they've ignored every email I've ever sent them trying to initiate a dialogue. Here's what Ripper014 has to say:
"Having seen all the bad press that Toshiba is getting because of their service support I thought I would post my experiences with them prior to the resolution of my problem. If you have been around for a bit you will have seen my name on the boards… I am a regular pollster and try to help when I can. I have opinions and can be opinionated… for those that I have upset I apologize. This is going to be a rather long post so for those that are interested please read on…"
So if you want to read the sordid tale, and have a high tolerance for ellipses...read on! ;-) You can comment in the original thread.
