Get a "Platform, Framework & Tools"-Grip

Sometimes life as a developer can be quite a challenge. Right there are perhaps too many factors to keep track of. Different versions of the platform, different versions of the framework, different versions of developer tools. How do they all fit together? What version of this works with what version of that? Robert Levy, part of the Windows Mobile product group, recently pulled together a chart that explains the major aspects in a nice and clean way. He writes:
"When the topic of which platforms Visual Studio 2005 will support came up in the newsgroup today, I replied with a chart summarizing the topic. Not exactly suitable for framing, but it should answer the question and help in deciding which tools to use and which platforms to target. As always, plans for future releases are subject to change but this is where things are headed right now."
