Let Your Fingers Do The Walking...

Have you ever been away from home and desperately needed to find a telephone number? If so, here's an interesting looking application that can help: Direct Assist.
"Direct Assist® is a straightforward, search tool that allows you to access multiple third party web based directories from around the world via your Windows Mobile powered device (Pocket PC or Smartphone). While the Direct Assist® software currently covers USA and Australia, it will shortly expand to cover new third party web based directories in countries such as Germany, UK, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia."
So, from what I can tell, this software simply helps you find a number by providing access to multiple online phone directories at once, supposedly increasing the likelihood of finding the correct number. Makes sense to me, but I've never tried it. There's a free demo available, but before I plunk down my $19.95 I'll want to test it pretty thoroughly.
