A Momentous Occasion
Posted by Pat Logsdon in "THOUGHT" @ 01:00 PM
35 years ago today, the Eagle landed on the Moon. 19 years ago today, treasure hunters found the Spanish galleon Nuestra Senora de Atocha, which sank off the coast of Key West, Fla in 1622. The ship contained over $400 million in coins and silver ingots. What's all this got to do with Pocket PC Thoughts? I'm glad you asked!
You see, we have our own first to celebrate today, from one of our most valuable members. I'm referring, of course, to Janak Parekh's ascension to the peak of 10,000 Posts. Quietly, stealthily, like a panther with a moustache, he slipped past our Illustrious Founder and planted his flag firmly at the peak of the mountain, the first poster in the Thoughts Media family to hit that giddy height on one site. And he did it all without a Sherpa. While Janak is obviously the most prolific poster here, he's also one of the most informative and helpful. Without people like Janak, this community of ours would be a much poorer place. Salutè!
