PDArcade Previews Baseball Today

No, they're not talking about the ESPN show... but rather a baseball game that fits on your today screen. 8O
"The most unique feature of Baseball Today (and the focus of half of its name) is the fact that the game "lives" on the player's today screen. The game is considered by the Pocket PC to simply be an item of the today screen, which can be added or removed like "appointments" and "tasks". The advantage of this is obviously the convenience in playing the game simply by clicking the today screen when you have a few minutes to spare. The obvious disadvantage however, is that, like with "tasks" and "appointments", even if the game is not being played it sits there open on the today screen (unless the item is removed). This factor in turn will obviously lead to battery life being draining simply through the game being installed and sitting on the today screen. However, the effect on the battery life was one of the key focus points in the game's development and because of this, Pocket PC Studios have been able to produce a game which remains active yet takes negligible battery life."
The game is apparently not quite out yet, but is nearing release. As a baseball aficionado, I'll have to check it out (especially because I'll probably do better than the Yankees have as of late... ;)).
