If you're in a country where the Media Centre Edition is available (which at least means: do not live in The Netherlands :?), and you'd like to use your network to control your MCE box with your Pocket PC, Rudeo MCE Remote should interest you. In May, our own Pat Logsdon informed you about this software, and now you can find a full review on pocketnow.com by Adam Z Lein. In the typical detailed pocketnow.com fashion Adam describes what there is to like and dislike about this application, and in general, he's quite happy with it:
Despite some very minor issues, which I'm sure will be fixed in future versions, I was very pleased with this software. It's a great way to manage you're home's music library from your Pocket PC and it's also a great way to control your Media Center TV without having to use a big infrared remote that you have to point in the direction of the infrared receiver. I would definitely recommend this software to anyone who has or is planning to purchase a Media Center PC, Wireless network, and a Pocket PC.
