New Mitac Handheld GPS/PDA Systems for Cars

The Inquirer has a brief price up about Mitac at Computex:
"..The focus of interest at its booth this year will be GPS based systems for cars and for handhelds. The firm said it will show off its Z3 RS handheld GPS system as well as smartphone products. The 2G GPS is intended to go in cars for people wanting the satellite facilities. Both these products will be bundled with map data specific to the territory they are being sold in, but include some extras…"
Interesting. GPS certainly seems to be flavour of the month at the moment. I'm looking forward to getting my first unit. Now just to find a decent reason to justify the purchase. :wink:
